The freak out is over... Passed drug test

Ok, so earlier I had a post showing my concern over an employment piss test. I had been bud free for 62 days, I am 5'11, 175 lbs, and work out from time to time. I passed my test, and got the job. Bottom line is , I was flipping out over a faint line on the at home test strips, but in the end, like everyone said, it was a negative. I didn't go by the "30 days" rule because I don't like to risk things... That's why I went double the time. Moral of the story is if you are going to possibly be searching for a job, give yourself enough leeway so that you don't stress yourself out worrying about it. If I could have I would have gone way longer than 62 days just to be safe. Last job I had I waited 8 months, which would have cleared me up for a hair test. It ended up being a piss test, so in the end I was fine. Everyone out there be safe and smart, unfortunately this stuff is frowned upon by employers... Let's hope things change soon.

Congratulations! I'm a little (a lot!) Put off by the fact that people have to give up the good herb just to get a job though. Such an invasion of privacy! Not just the testing itself, but the fact that some places actually MAKE YOU LET THEM WATCH YOU PEE!!!! That's barbaric! Hopefully your new employment doesn't do random testing & you're free to live in peace. I won't jump on my political soap box here, but when it comes to things I find unfair..... Burnt Toast, have you read my political rants? Especially on the thread about Uruguay's legalization? Urrgh! The U.N. sent me into uber bitch mode! FREE THE WEED!

Thanks burnt toast I appreciate it. I totally agree with you catbuds, this whole drug testing thing is bullshit. Hopefully once weed is legal it will not affect people's jobs
