My stumpy ladies are almost done!

I freakin' love it. My first grow too Brought back some seeds from Maui about 2 years ago. Came across them last summer in an Altoid tin and decided to plant them. 8 of 9 came up so I gave 6 of 'em to a buddy and threw the other two in my greenhouse. My buddy flowered one to ascertain sex and it was a male.
.....so I said "screw it," chuck 'em all. I didn't want to go and get them at that point and I wasn't setup for them. The two I had...got to be about 3 feet tall and spindly so I planted one on the hill in my backyard. Dogs pulled it out of the ground....twice!
So I was down to 1 of the original 8. It was doing great, even with minimal care and watering and suddenly it had flower's! I'm thinking, "uh-oh" I need to clone it! So I took 3 clones and my buddy mothered them and got them re-vegged.
So now I needed to get "set up" Didn't want to deal with heat, space somewhat limited, plus I just like to be different....so I went with an all T5HO setup.
    20,000 lumen 4 bulb 4 foot T5HO for Veg, 30,000 lumen T5HO 6 bulb 4 foot with a 5000 lumen T5HO sidelight for flower. bud's are tight, but not huge...like there plant!
Anyway, the little midget ladies turned out pretty cool. Even though the mother was tall and spindly, all the clones have been very short and bushy!
It's an Indica strain, and apparently a "Kush", whatever that is exactly. They were cloned 9/8 and took some time to reveg, so they had about 3 weeks after rooting then I repotted and sent two of the 3 to flower on 10/17. I kept one as a mama.
So here is the two little stumpy girls at 6 weeks and 1 day. I did LST them somewhat, but was a little late starting so that's as far as I went.
They are approx. 8.5 inches tall and 16 inches wide....Hahahaha, funny little stumps. I have had a great time playing with them, I needed a winter hobby.
Trials and tribulations as well....Spider mites, (killed) fungus gnats (killed) and a 12 day vacation towards the end with a temp issues and rookie caretaking too.
But I'm there! Some Milky Trichomes already, maybe this weekend I will wack 'em.
    So here's the pics.
Thanks for the assistance given by those that helped, and happy growing!

Awesome job. Really cool little plants. Even without the LST they look like they would be bushy. Would these stay short and squat if you had let then grow longer, or is this the normal habit for this strain?

Those look like some tasty little bushes. Very good pictures for instruction on LST! Everything I read says that one of the biggest blunders, especially after the long wait and effort to get to near-harvest, is harvesting too early. Awesome job and good luck with the harvest when you get to it!

They would stay stumpy. See the two to the side of those flowering girls? Those have been vegging since 10/27 and that's as big as they have gotten...only a little bigger than the flowering ones.

d00g...Looks like it's time to me. They are some amber trichomes as well as 50% + milky. I had read that Indica's mature quickly, but only 6 weeks??
I'm going to cut off the bigger buds and let the "middle" one's mature and fatten a bit more, depending on their trichomes.
All in all? I am very pleased.
Thanks for the kind words and stand by for more reports as I grow and learn.

The taller buds on the plant perimeter had over 50% trichs with some amber so I took those off and put the plants back under the lights to fatten and ripen the others.
I guess I will see how that works out for me....Lol
Anyway, the buds are very tight and dense, though not huge by any means. Probably end up with around 3/4 OZ from these as a WAG.
I put one little 'nug on a pie plate over the lights to sample....very tasty and stony. This closet farming is too much fun!
