    two plants. very strangr need help

    Ok guys i got two plants that were planted at tge same time. they are under a 250w mh. i just want your opinions. one looks good the other I'm thinking isa.different strain

    Why is the plant on the left shorter with leaves dtartin in all nodes and the three blade fan leaves are wavy and kinfa twisty while the other looks good and is around an inch taller... both germed and sprouted the same day same nutes same lights identical care. supplemented root star soil fed with 1/4 strength 15-5-5 fert. less than 1/4 tsp per gallon

    What exactly are you asking? If the plants are two different strains or the same. Maybe they are maybe not at this stage most plants look very similar.
    Invest in some patience you still have a long way to go.

    Odd leaf shape can sometimes indicate over-feeding, but it doesn't sound like that's a problem. Are these grown from seed? Are they supposed to be the same strain? If they are the first gen. seed from a sativa/indica cross you can have many phenotypes. Give some more background on these plants.

    At the end of the grow, look at the roots.
    I'll bet that you find the one on the right has a "loop".
    When the seed gets planted wrong end up, the root has to do a double turn, and that uses up the energy stored in the seed.
    Gets it off to a slow start, it may catch up.
