    Plants grew to tall

Hi all. Long time. I have a rather odd question. I turned my plants to 12 hours 2 weeks ago. I know they shoot up in height a bit. I have always figured about 6-8". This time they grew almost 13". Therefore they are very close to the light. By the way I use LED. My question is what happens if I trim the tops. Will that adversely affect or stunt the bud growth? THanks

I had to do this same thing recently. I also bent over other plants instead of topping them. Both ways work to keep plants short, under a light.
