It takes about an 45 min. to an hour and half to fully kick in. Best way to ease your way into a dxm trip is to just lay down next to your toilet, cause sometimes it makes your stomach feel shitty and you have to go for about an hour on the floor. I just close my eyes and let my mind take me where ever it wants to go, I have surfed the internet while laying on my back in my bathroom before and once I was the main guy from halo shooting all the bad guys it was a blast! well hey Happy Tripping

lol my first time i took 490 and threw it all up, my second time which was just this weekend i took 974mgs. im not sure if i got lucky or if it was the higher dose, but the second time i felt alot more comfortable. i didnt feel sick the entire time either like i did on my first try

Well after my second attempt I'm not sure if I'm gonna do it again. I drank one 4 ounce bottle of robitussin max strength (~354 mg) and just chilled. I definitely got a buzz, but I never got any hallucinations. Music really didn't sound all that great. It was better to just sit there and chill out. Sometimes it felt like my mind was floating away from my body. But there were also some negative side effects. I couldn't sleep at all during the night (maybe I could've avoided this problem by taking it earlier during the day, but I was trying to avoid being stoned in front of my parents heh.) Also, the next day I felt a very light feeling that I can only explain as a slight dizziness. That wore off by late afternoon but I was still kind of put off by it. Maybe that could've been avoided too by taking it earlier the previous day. I also don't like how my body became overheated. What freaked me out the most though was the penis shrinkage, I went into the bathroom and was like

I dunno, it just seemed to me like it would be easier to drink alcohol and have a temporary hangover than a wierd feeling that lasted most of the day. Cough syrup is pretty nasty going down also. Who knows though, maybe I just didn't get a high enough dose and had a shitty experience.

Wow I have a low tolerance my first time i did 354 mg and had full OEV's and VEV's its was amazing.

yeah delsym is waht i used, but its so gross after you use it like 2 times, just thinking of it makes me gag.

Agreed, just thinking of that edible plastic makes me want to blow chunks.

I think i have a really high tolerance to DXM, cause i never see OEV's too much, just alot of CEV's... And i usually take a nice 800mg dose.
