should i have switched the lighting to flowering before or is now good?

From what I understand (from diggin around the forums) spider mites are pretty common when growing indoors.I'm not sure if most experienced growers use a preventitive regularly but after dealing with them on my first grow I will be using the neem oil (its organic) for awhile and see how it goes.I used Azamax when I got em...sprayed,drenched the soil the next day w/it and then sprayed again 4 days after the first spray to get the unhatched eggs. Its been 5-6 days and I havent seen any sign of em.

I've had the spider mites indoors only once or twice in ten years. When I did have them the first time I used a concoction of pepper sauce, tobacco and simple dish detergent. The next outbreak I used Safer Insect Killing Soap. Both methods worked the trick. You need to spray everywhere, repeat a few days later.

About day 25 in flower I noticed about 25% of my top fan leaves were slightly less green than the rest so I upped the nitrogen but its now day 30 and theres no difference,no spots or anything, just a lighter shade of green.I'm thinking it could be iron deficiency but as I look @ you tube vids I notice the same in many of them toward the later stages of flowering. My question is,wether or not I have a nutrient deficiency now,is there a point in flowering where you will start to get discolored leaves etc. naturally and just quit worrying about nutrient deficiencies altogether?
