    1. are you still vegging?...you can do some trimming.

    2. how far from; whatever kind of light you have, from floor to light source?

    3. most strains won't go over 5 feet; except with weak lighting

I have pretty much the same set up as you (6 1/2' cube tent w/ a 1000 watt hps & 2'x3' a/c reflector). One of my 2 plants well over 2' + the height of the bucket when I started flowering 23 days ago, almost 2 weeks later than the grower I bought them from said he would start them.It quikly shot up the foot or so to the hot glass of the reflector then I just turned the pot where it could grow past it.I did very little trimming but the grower had "bent" ? one of them where it grew a little sideways...instead of growing up its growing out more, with a little trimming I think it would have been about perfect. The two of em take up almost half the floor space of the tent,as far as doubling & tripling in size i'd say mine are close to triple what they where 3 weeks ago.And yes, they will start stinkin up the place in a few weeks.Ive got a pile of plants in veg (allowed 16 plants legally but only 4 in flower) and will start trying several different trimming styles within the next week. Can anyone recommend the names of a few of the most popular styles of trimming indoor plants to start with?...working on getting a digital camera soon to upload some pics.

If this is your first indoor grow you might want to get a mite preventitive like neem.I got mites early in flower phase and just had a bout w/powdery mildew...I read that the neem helps prevent that also.Luckily I caught both early and easily took care of both problems (Azamax for mites,3:1 water milk mix w/a drop of dishsoap in a spray bottle).I read in another forum yesterday that if you let your humidity get over 80% powdery mildew is almost a certainty and sure enough about 5 days before I found it I had plugged a humidifier into the wrong timer and it kicked on in the middle of the nite and I did'nt catch it till it was almost 90%. Anyway,it pays to keep a sharp eye on your leaves, especially the lower ones.
