Ready clean question/enough time?
Is it likely that after 2.5 weeks of abstaining from the typical bowl or two of schwag i usually partake in per day, I can pass a urine test? Im 5-6, 175, lost about 20 lbs last 2 months, and have been exercising like a madman, drinking only water and taking multivitamins, milk thistle, and niacin....should i buy ready clean to be safe? Does that definitely work? I kno it is like fruit and creatine and all, but I don;t get how it can prevent toxins from coming out for 5 hours.
I hear water, vitamins, and creatine supplements is the way to go. In the educated opinion of those who have experienced pre-employment drug tests (my first; big job that I MUST get...), what are your thoughts? And when should i stop exercising? I've heard differing opinions on whether or not to eat fatty foods the 2 days beforehand, also.
Should I try to push it back to next week? Or is it shady to say I need to leave the state for a family funeral for 2 days (and maybe catch a break with the weekend too)? There was no mention of a test during the verbal offer over phone, but assuming when I sign paperwork, it will come up as conditional on passing, as it is with a big insurance company. Interview to job offer happened very, very fast, so I stopped smoking when I got a phone call to potentially set up the interview.
Thanks in advance for any advice; I am stressing the fuck out as you can see.dirktheman Reviewed by dirktheman on . Ready clean question/enough time? ALL detox products are a big scam to seperate the credulous from their cash. When they do work at all, they work by diluting. The whole "preventing toxins from coming outfor X amount of hours" BS is actually dilution at work.
The drink (along with the water that youre required by the instructions to drink with it) serves to dilute the the THCA concentration that is present in the bladder for a given amount of hours - just enough time for the urine sample to register a negative on the assay screen. You can accomplish the same thing for $$$ less by following the steps outlined in the Dilution "sticky" thread.
Sure those snake oil products may brag about "contains creatine". What they dont tell you (perhaps in an effort to avoid blowing a sale) is that it takes 2-3 days for the body to convert creatine into creatinine. Creatinine is the end waste product of creatine that is found in urine and tested by the labs. Therefore, the creatine ingrediant in those snake oil products will do you no good when the product is consumed on the day of the U/A (in which the instructions reqiure you to do so). Any creatine-loading must be done at least 3 days prior to the U/A.
In short, forget the magic detox potions. The detox product industry predicates itself on exploitation via misinformation and they dont need another victim to fall for their bogus claims and ludicrous sales pitches.

I think the thistle is just to make the liver function at its best, so along with the niacin (100MG), it hasn't really hurt me, as I don't overdo either and probably will continue to take a little of each every day just because.
Multivitamins and plenty of water throughout the day/during workouts can only help, right?
I have read the thread OP and learned plenty, so thank you. I will save my money on the drink and instead get some more test strips to get a better feel for where I am out. Just found out I may have another week or so, so back to the gym I go.
Thanks again.

Drinking water is only helpful on the day of the U/A because the water consumption dilutes the THCA concentration that is present in the bladder (providing that the THCA concentration is not too high), as pointed out earlier. This dilution phenomena, however, is only temporary - once the fluids ingested had all been urinated out, the bladder is replenished with fresh THCA-laden urine and thus, the donor is right back to square one.
Exercise is helpful if the donor has a couple of weeks (or more) to prepare for a U/A. However if the donors home tests are non-negative, and the scheduled U/A is 3 days (or less) away, then all exercise should be curtailed and the donor be as dormant as possible until after the U/A. That way, the donor wont be releasing a bunch of THCA back into the bloodstream, which will end up in the urine to be detected.

I meant more so to ensure I am always fully hydrated and that my kidneys, liver, etc are functioning best, as to the water and vitamins for what apparently now is going to be more like 21-25 days sober.

Once hydrated, you cannot increase GFR by drinking more water. Again, GFR is constant and is not affected by copius water consumption.

Ready clean question/enough time?
Hi all,
After 18 days of rigorous physical activity, I was able to pass an at home test. Days 19, 20, and 22 (minimal dilution, just drank a bottle of water and used 3rd pee of day) I have also passed. Tomorrow is day 23, and my test is in the early afternoon. Plan on testing my first piss, then once when in the parking lot of the facility, and one right after, just to ease my mind so that I can smoke tomorrow night with no worries.
2 weeks ago I purchased a bottle of ready clean, thinking the test would have been last week. Also, I have been taking about 5grams of creatine per day over the past week. Should I even bother with the drink? Like is there anything in it that would flag me for using such, or anything negative?
Since I already bought it, I am unsure if it is worth using or selling to a friend down the line or maybe even try back to the store. Basically, is there any possible downside to taking it, along with my planned vitamins/rolaids/aspirin (which may all be unnecessary, but I have the items so why not)?
Sort of related, but i guess if i pass right before going in, the only bad thing can be a dilute? Assuming that's out of the picture since I've been taking creatine though.
Thanks for any advice.

Why risk spoiling a U/A with a "too-dilute" ruling (after consuming the magic potion) when it would be a straight-up negative if you are actually pissing clean?

Ready clean question/enough time?
Is there a chance of that if i have a normal breakfast with juice or milk, then the drink and a bottle of water? Curious, and im basically asking you whether that too dilute is a possibility, unless i drink like half a gallon of fluids or something...

Theres always that possibility. But theres really no knowing how much fluids it would take before being too diluted without testing your creatinine and S/G before consuming fluids (to obtain your baseline level), and testing your creatinine and S/G after the fluid consumption. Each persons body and baseline levels differ. And the baseline levels themselves fluctuate daily.
