    New Guy

    Well like the title says new guy trying to get my green thumb going. First time grower and got 2 photos at day 31, 1 White Widow fem by DinaFem and 1 Bag seed, who knows what it is. Also got an auto going at day 13. Its a seed out of 00 Seeds mix auto/fem pack of 5 so its a unknown as-well. Getting a ruff start due to the fact that I was using a pool test kit to try and PH my water/feed and it wasn't working out to well. Got a PH meter on its way and should be here by the weekend. Growing in soil, MG seed starter soil mixed 3-1 with perlite, Nectar For The Gods nutes, Epsom and some molasses, and cfl lighting in a 3x2x5 (WxDxH) DIY grow box. Intake, exhaust, and a circulation fans. No filter as of yet but soon, Wife says she can smell them so its time I guess. Not to sure where Im headed, Just getting started and still thinking on what i want to do with what i got going now. Any how want to get my introduction out the way and get to checking out the threads here and educate myself.

    Welcome seamless! I agree with Shov. All those over advertised chem nutes SUCK! When you smoke your harvest, you will taste that crap. Tastes metalic like sucking on an old penny, won't burn well, & well, yuck! Just don't do that again! LOL! I'm organic, so is Shovelhandle & several others. I have my soils listed in my grow log, camper closet grow (just remember not to use ocean forest on seedlings, rich & will burn babies). Some here like Happy Frog. Organics taste better, sweeter. I can even taste nasty chem nutes in tomatoes. I want my tomatoes sweet, not coppery & bitter. But anyway, read up my friend. You're in the right place!

    ~~~ PEACE ! ~~~
    I'm am kind of new at this also. Like they all said, Lots of good reading, and pictures, and stuff. I use organic, and yes, I am hook on Miracle Grow. I use 8-6-7 for Vegeta stage, and 2-7-7 Catus Miracle Grow for Flowering stage, with a 2 week Flush at the end with Rain Water. No problems. I am just now starting a flush on my 7 week bud of white widow X Big Bud, just two more weeks tile harvest. Good luck, and Happy Growing and Happy Thanksgiving.
