    germinating...

    ive been germinating my seeds for about 5 days now... the shell cracked and it came off.. should i keep germinating it? or plant it? its about half an inch... i need some advice people.

    germinating...

    plant that shit in some peat moss and itll root in about a day. put ur light on it though. U can get things called peat pellets. U put water on them and they expand very inexpensive

    when i started my first seed i soaked the seed in water for 24hours, then did the paper towel for 2 days, then planted into dirt.

    plant it with the root tip, facing down, DO NOT touch the root with your hands

    ^ i touched the roots while i was re-soaking the paper towel, is that bad? if so, whats gon` happen? ;\

    The more you mess with your seeds, shock the plants when you transfer, and "hassle" your plants, the better the odds you'll have stunted plants (so developing), and/or they'll become males.

    Female plants develop when the plant thinks it's in a safe place where it's worth dropping some seeds. Male plants develop in places that are rough and screwed up, because it doesn't think it can sustain life all that well, and hopefully it will just seed a female, create real seeds, and so goes the process.

    Be gentle with your plants.
