sooo... one of my Jamaican dreams threw some dicks. I pulled like 6 out, and then thru the plant out on the back patio to finish. It needs 3 more weeks and I am taking 0 risks that my crop gets seeded. Its cold out...like in the 50s so expecting some major purple colors.

Got to ask about the hermies situation, figure that it just sounds like a lot, and one would be to many in large grow like yours. But are they coming from varieties, environment, lights, stresses, any ideas? Just seems I'm hearing more and more about them as the years go by.

I have never had 2 hermies in a grow so honestly at a lose. The only female I have had hermie previously was one that was right outside my bathroom window outdoors and everywhere the light was hitting it hermied

Where the inside light was hitting it, while it was outdoors?? The world does seem to be getting lighter at night.

yea I had a plant outside in my back yard that when you would turn the bathroom light on some areas of the plant would get some light on it. Everywhere the light hit hermied.

The only hermie I have had wasnt even a true hermie. I let the cherry pie go over 11 weeks and it pushed like 1-2 dicks. That is pretty common with most great genetic strains, the plant wants to get knocked up so bad it eventually will push male flowers. With my cherry pie I try to let it go until i see the dicks and then I know shes ready to come down.

I know next to nothing about this subject was just reading an article from Mandala Seeds I think it was- it talked about some breeding issues that may be causing this….But like I said- I just read that and there is a lot of shit out there to read….if ya know what I mean….
