Slip it out without disturbing the root ball, add enough soil in the bottom of the new pot to bring plant up to proper level, add new soil around sides & water in well. The reason I'm stressing not to disturb the roots, is that at this point, the last thing you need is transplant shock. No, that is a Brindle colored half german shepard half pitbull mix, and he is one of the gentelist dogs i know. Had him since he was 8 weeks old. He got parvo shortly after I got him but I nursed him back to health. Unfortunately his growth was stunted due to the parvo, but he is still my little guy.
