& I'm a geezer-ett! LOL! Doesn't matter at all. Sometimes I top like hell, sometimes not at all. Depends on the space you have. Is the space more vertical or horizontal? That's my determining factor. ~~~ PEACE! ~~~

If you're concerned the lower, smaller buds won't get enough light for potency, remove the lower branches that are shaded, also giving the plants energies to the colas. Find a thread on lollipoping. Or you could simply add some side lighting angled to reach those lower parts. Search this forum. Read many threads. See what others are doing, why, & their results. This is how you make the decision that best suits you. Its a personal preference thing. For my next grow, I'll be topping & placing a few flourscent fixtures on their backs to under light all those smaller branches & buds (tube type, not cfls). This works for me because I'm using a VERY small space, keeping plants short & compact, kinda SOG. What ever you decide, just keep an eye on where you light is hitting. Lower it, raise it, angle it..... whatever it takes to light the entire plant/plants.
