    Question about in line fan

I got a 6" fan cause my light has a 6" tube, but when I put a 6" to 4" reducer on it for the ducting, more air comes out the back of the fan than the front. Normal? Attachment 295863

    Question about in line fan

Blow into a funnel....same thing happens. Put a 6" to 4" reducer on the inlet end as well and it will work fine.
