no, looks like you started your flower cycle way too early and don't have enough greenage to support full bud growth, or you tossed/chopped all the large fan leaf's

the bulbs are the resin sac's, this plant has been flowering for awhile

also plants normally grow buds like this if

    1. not enough light
    2. lights are too high
    3. quality of seeds

if its a hermaphrodite you should see, banana looking flowers pop up, male flowers sort of resemble a sunflower seed looking thing when they flower (go look at some pics of male plants). balls and sunflowers

Here are all of them together. They all vegged for 6 weeks.. The pics show buds from the other plants.... The ones in the first pics (The ones I am concerned about) are all on the tallest branches wich were on the biggest plant.....the smaller plants produced bigger buds and I dont understand why????

Good advice Growdemon. Who told you to remove the sunleaves? Plants need them for photosynthesis. That's how they use LIGHT to convert the precious nutes we give them into plant sugars they can use. Before you make another move, consult the forum. That's why us old heads are here man; to commune, share knowledge & to inform the 'younguns'! Gotta keep our heritage going man! ~~~PEACE! ~~~

BTW, as the bud mature the sunleaves will yellow & fall off. This is natural. The only picking you need to do is the fallen leaves off the floor. To leave them lay encourages insects & disease. Practice grow room hygiene.

Ok Thanks guys. I did remove some of the leaves that I felt were blocking too much light. I guess I will know better next time...But like I said the buds on the biggest plant are the only ones that look like that the 2 smaller plants have nice cola shaped buds...Will the buds with the "resin sacs" be any good? Thanks for all of your help.

What you're looking at are the calax, the seeds would form inside them should they become pollinated. The resin capsules form on the outsides of them, & are the most resinous part of the plant. They wouldn't be buds without them. Read the forums till your eyes burn, then read them again. That will answer questions you never knew you had. Still have questions? Us older heads are always glad to help. Check out all the pics you can find. Some are tight closeups that will show you what they should look like. That's better than trying to picture it from a word description.

BTW. The energy produced by photosynthesis will grow the bud. Just before ripening, the sunleaves will yellow & drop, then at this point, the bud will be getting more light through the ripening period. This is how mother nature takes care of her own. Its a plant & it knows what to do.

First grow, better than some, kinda have to figure it out at least a little on your own. Good news: u get cheap smoke soon and your learning! And as said earlier, no male flowers to be seen. Keep at it!
