need help choosing strain

I am setting up my first grow....small room
4x6...problem is I only have 4 feet from floor to ceiling.im trying to stay away from auto fems.
I need a good yeilding strain that wont get any taller than about 2.5 feet tall max.....thanks for the help!

Stick with indicas, as they are short & squaty by nature. You'll still most likely need to top them. I'm going with Aurora Indica for the same reason you are. The seed banks describe it as having a couch lock high, so if you don't want one that makes you sleepy, go to the seed banks on line & read their descriptions. consider growing the short ryder strain. this is perfect for beginners and for those who have limited grow space bcoz this strain has the ability to maintain a short height. it's not a big bud producer but you can expect to get up to 300 grams/m2

early sativa is a dwarfing sativa.

restricting root size will also help to control plant size - use smaller containers.
