Bush and Clinton
Pentagon on Friday proposed shutting about 180 military installations from Maine to Hawaii including 33 major bases, triggering the first round of base closures in a decade and an intense struggle by communities to save their facilities.
Wait for it....
Other major bases â?? including the Army's Fort Bliss in Texas, the Naval Shipyard in Norfolk, Va., and Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland â?? would see gains, as they absorb troops whose current home bases are slated for closure.
Yeah, like ya didn't see that comming.
But more to the point...
For years I've listened to republicans spew their hatred for Bill Clinton. The most sincere of which has revolved around his dodging of the draft, and his closing of military bases. So now that bush, who in the eyes of many is a draft dodger, is looking to close major military bases, I wonder if that hatred will be directed toward him.
I know one thing, they've played the "Clinton was bad for the military" card for the last time.XTC Reviewed by XTC on . when you get down to it, on the big anti-american selling out of US sovereignty issues and signing unconstitional treaties and all that jazz...george bush and bill clinton are basically indentical. if we go by current definitions, george w. bush is the most liberal president the country has ever seen. but he's also a fascist. socialism and fascism work hand in hand to bring us the new freedom(t).
i'm not talking about the issues the mainstream strives to make big deals and make a separation between republicrats and demopublicans like gay marriage either...
hilary clinton should love george bush.
i'm in austin and we had an sng (satellite news gathering) shot from fort hood that's gaining people from the closures too.
george bush is not a conservative at all.

Republicans still wont discriminate Bush, just because thats how they are. Correct me if im wrong, but im sure MOST wont. Clinton, at least, had a surplus of 450 Billion, rather than a Deficit of 470 Billion, like Bush. Bush can make money for himself and his administration, but still cant find the intelligence to make money for our country. Republicans will always have a hatred for Clinton for lying about getting a blow job, because they cant, and Democrats will Always hate Bush for lying about a War.
