Colorado city job (non-driving)...any idea what to expect?

Applied/interviewed for a job that I thought I didn't have a chance of getting and now apparently an offer is gonna be made in the next couple days. I figure that even though marijuana is legal here (and I have mmj card), they'll want me to piss clean.

I'll update the thread once I find out where the testing will take place, but need to start getting a plan for substituting my wife's urine if possible....absolutely zero experience doing this so I figure I better start practicing as I vape about .25 grams most evenings.

Do most of the testing locations basically let you go into a stall or is there a chance I'll be observed? What is the typical protocol? Heard I'll have to empty my pockets so I was thinking about wearing 2 pairs of tighty whities and keeping the urine with a heat pack attached in between the pairs....total noob tho so I would much appreciate as much help as I can get.

    Thanks for reading.

Well my friend, gov jobs have strict protocols. It would be wise to find out what they intend to screen for and at what levels. Yes, the lab tech will ask you to empty your pockets and no they cannot observe you unless you're on probation. No employer may observe as it is an invasion of privacy. with the constant progression of testing protocols it may not be wise to use the urine of the opposite gender. Urine luck... I have used this synthetic for many years and I must say that it is the best out there IMHO.

I was thinking about using quickfix 6.0 but just saw someone from Washington say they didn't pass with it so I figured I'd have to use my wifes. Thought I read somewhere that as long she isn't on her period it would be fine? VERY hard to find any guy around my age in Colorado with clean pee these days! So silly with it being legal that I even have to worry about it.
Only other option I can think of is having my brother in NYC mail me his but don't know how the logistics would even work and don't really want to ask him to even do that.

Testing protocols have not progressed to the point where a person facing an employment-related U/A is subjected to genetic profiling. Labs practicing in the US are still prohibited from conducting any form of genetic testing on urine samples collected for an employment-related U/A. Such donors are protected from genetic profiling under the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA) of 2008.

With that being pointed out, any human sample can be used as a sub as long as the sub donor is known to be drug-free and not overhydrated prior to donating the sample. Donor gender and age is NOT a factor.

As I had informed you in another post, the correct name is Quick Fix for the synthetic urine - not "Urineluck". Urineluck is the drop-in additive used to spike a dirty urine sample.

Thanks for clearing that up quickly Burnt Toast!
I was thinking it would be alright to use hers (tho she probably won't be too thrilled to do it!)
Job is for an advanced/college educated cube monkey so I don't envision them being too stringent on the testing protocol.
Any links to the best way to substitute? Saw the sticky about using a well-cleaned travel-sized shampoo bottle but curious of best ways to catch and then retain the sample with how plastics can give off trace things. Was thinking about having her catch some in a cup and then funnel it into a plastic shampoo bottle and put in fridge? How long would a sample stay usable in the fridge? Also whats the best brand of heating pad and temp strip to use to retain ideal temps? Concerned about not hitting the right temp (Sorry for all the questions, total noob and seems to be a lot of mis-information floating around)

Most, if not all, of your questions - from subbing tips to handwarmer packs to temp strips and storing urine - have all been addressed and answered elsewhere in the DT forum. They all can be found by making use of the Advanced Search button.

    Search, read, and learn.

Ok, I'll do some more research. Started looking at some shampoo bottles to use and the 3oz ones are pretty dang big! Is 3 oz the max the testing facilities require? I'd hate to go in with too little urine.

All you really need is 2 ounces. 2 ounces is enough for any U/A. The collector may ask for more, only to dump out the excess. Under DHHS regulations, if 2 oz is all the donor can submit, the collector has to accept the sample.

Well thats good to hear! Got a 3oz bottle at WallyWorld and its not as big as I thought under my balls....experimenting with a digital thermom and hoping for the best!

Got a call from HR today with an offer that I have until next week to accept and start the "process" which I assume means a drug screening and background check. Is it about a 99% chance it'll be a urine test? I don't want to call the testing facility and inquire as I feel that would be a red-flag that I'm up to something.

Still experimenting with N2's method and have found the bottle moves around too much with 2 pairs of tighty whities and could even slip out. I'm now practicing wearing cycling shorts and it seems to be a much better route....skin tight and the padding allows me to sit down easier with the bottle between my legs.
