    tent material question

hey guys.. need some advice.. there is a plant that thought to be inline for continuing 18/6 light cycle.. now there is 5 plants.. and unfortunately 1 of the 5 needs 12/12 cycle ...

So here is my thought on this problem.. thinking on building a domed tent type container that i can attach to closet rod and unfurl every night around the plant.. untill the other ones are caught up to 12/12 ( probly few weeks )

so as far as material goes i was thinking on using an old tarp maybe painting the inside black.. keep in mind i am almost as low tech as you can get, and a budget that is very similar..

    think that would help ?

If your going to manually light deb one plant, why not just move to dark room and bring out, poinsettia like.

you could move it to a box somewhere, not near lights preferably, I used a file cabinet once
you could clear out a another closet for a few weeks, maybe kitchen cabinet, pantry, shower

as for tent material, how big are you thinking. it might be cheaper to find the smallest grow tent you can, as I've found that DIY with these materials actually isn't cheap.

a cheap way maybe a box, paint the outside reflective of foil, since you like foil, line the inside with duct tape to fill the cracks.
but if your light is strong I wouldn't put anything under it that would spark (cardboard)

maybe a ice box, like a party cooler, ice chest (for camping),its square. stick it on its side, (hey you have a little door too), and you could put small plants ontop

    tent material question

sorry was real stoned when i wrote this.. lol... basically there is only one closet i got to work with. i have 5 plants, 4 in 18 on and 6 off light schedule.. 1 that i am pretty certain needs to go to 12 on 12 off.... i was thinking of building some sort of tentish apparatus i could cover it when the time comes to shut off the lights to that one to begin a 12/12 while the other 4 remain in 18/6 for a couple weeks to catch up...

i had 3. one was male and the other died on accident leaving me with 1 female.. so i planted the new 4 and believe that in 3 weeks or so the new 4 should be caught up to the 1 older one so that they can all 5 be on 12/12 ... but what to do with the one that needs 12/12 now ... since i only have space for one grow ?

ok so remember i am very low on budget here.. lol.. so ran out of duct tape so reverted to black electrical and scotch tape lol.. meshed a few boxes together.. and here we are whamo light repellant lol . it aint fancy but it gets the job done.. no light coming through i taped both side of every seam went back through with some black spray paint along seams as well. held a light over it and ducked under to look inside and see if light comes through.. no light yay !!
