my camper closet grow
Thanks Ranger, Merry Christmas! Christmas is just gonna be a work my butt off day. Trimming plants, putting more reflective material in the closet, taking more measurements. Working on getting my order ready for amazon.com. Stuff I needed to finish up, walmart/home depot prices for all those little things was $125.00+, found on amazon for under $50.00. & THAT makes me a happy shopper! (God I HATE shopping! Great to sit on my bum & do it on line!) Plants are so ugly when they're first trimmed. They won't be pretty again for another week. Was going to take before & after pics on trim day, but I think I'll forego the afters untill they grow into it. Don't want to document ugly! LOL! Very bottom leaves turning yellow & dying from lack of light & air. No big deal, they were coming off in the trim anyway, but its a big indicator of how bad they really need this trim. Can not see a stem anywhere because of the density, not even on the big sunleaves, so you know air & light can't penetrate. Letting some lower branches stay & grow out a little for clones, but this time I raising the lights higher to make them stretch out a little. Raised it some yesterday morning to see if I can get some upward stretch. That should help get some length on those lowers I want to clone. These guys certainly don't need the light intensity I'm used to giving plants in veg. That was a surprise that caught me off guard! Certainly couldn't use any of these for xmas trees! So short & WIDE, they look like gruond cover. Short wide leaves look like ivy!
-- So, now that I've seen their growth pattern, next grow with these guys (hopefully clones), will be to raise the lights, top a lot & 12/12 @ 4wks. That will solve the horizontal space problem, & I won't have to hold them back. Trying to hold them back didn't slow down leaf production, only shortened the internodes & made them even wider, adding to the horizontal problem. So the second grow with these will be at maximum production. Goal is, clones for indoors, seeds for outdoors.
catbuds Reviewed by catbuds on . my camper closet grow I have a BIG camper thats nearly 1/2 closet. Biggest closet I've EVER had. Now that I've removed the shelf on top, its 7' high, 10' long, 3' deep. Ill be using what I already have for veg. I have a 6' light mover, 250 watt hps (not using for veg) a lot of fluorescent grow lights, 4 led's. A shit load of 4" & 6" fans, 4 fan forced carbon air filters with ozone emitters. For veg, Ill be using all lights except hps for veg. Been checking seed banks for sm varieties, but don't see anything any Rating: 5

OMB, try tucking them. Unless they're going yellow, they still go through photosynthesis. Bruised my pride & hurt my ego, other than that, I'm fine. Still have some gorilla glue in my hair! LOL!

Ranger, It was down past my knees & so thick & curly, it was BIG AS HELL! Unless I was going out, I had to keep it in a french braid. I was thin & muscular back then, & with all that hair, my head was bigger than the rest of me. God, I must have looked like a cartoon!

-- Thought I had all the gorilla glue out of my hair.....untill it dried! I'll never need gel again!
-- apparently I just CAN'T 'stop doing that!' But at least I'm not falling off or out of things anymore. Nothing better than a tree top & a good pair of binoculars (the binoculars help you see where you're gonna land BEFORE you hit the ground)! LOL! Ahhh, still can't believe I held onto my drill & let go of the board! But heck! Gotta take care of your power tools!!
-- Couldn't really call it a rough day though. Got a few things accomplished & had a good laugh!

OMG! I have a closet full of freaking shrubbery! These babies need to slow down a tad! Some seeds should come with a warning lable reading, 'DANGER! HIGHLY EXPLOSIVE!'
-- It wasn't SUPOSED to rain all day yesterday......but it did.
If I don't get a break I might end up making a panda plastic tent; but then there's the cats. I wonder if I could get them to wear mittens? BTW.... The board I smacked myself in the head with? Well I did actually DID get it mounted to the ceiling! As soon as I make another cup of coffee, I'm going back there & hang the light. So cramped on space, its been in my bed & I've slept with it since its been here! It will be nice to sleep without something hard poking me in the back all night! OH HELL! I mean like sharp metal corners boys! That does it. I'm gonna get that coffee now!

Na, the lights were in the bed to keep from breaking them. Now the cats are back in the bed, crowding me out & trying to push me in the floor!
-- Wow, I still have plenty of space to raise the lights, but I just can't expand the closet walls! Fat little bubbas! Today I threatened to lay them on their sides. LOL!
