I'm tired of growing weed for people to steal. I want to add something to my soil that will produce weed that will make a person ill. has anyone tried doing this?

Haven't a clue, but I use plants for camouflage that have similar leaves & the thieves once got thoes by mistake in the dark, dried & smoked them & got sick as a dog. Cleome (spider lilly) & cardinal vine. Not sure which one made them sick. Heard it through the grape vine they dried them as soon as they snatched them, on the manifold. But unless they're really stupid, they could tell the difference in the daylight. Unless they had wilted before they looked them over. These were punks that would steal young plants & smoke leaves. How about some of the insecticides that have to be washed off before harvest? Then if they're not stolen, you can wash them & smoke them yourself. I feel your anger. I have NOTHING this year because of thieft.

Goodcall Ranger! I GOOGLED PARAQUQT POT, late 70's, early 80's, gov admitted to this. Thought the GOOD people of America would applaud their efforts to wipe out the BAD drug users in our country! I remember this shit. Everybody was afraid to smoke anything but their own home grown. I believe this may be what drove seed prices up in the 80' s. That's just my opinion, but the timing coincides.

Ok, here would be the draw back; paraquat is an herbicide. It kills rapidly & its highly unlikely any thief would steal dead plants; unless..........you took a bunch of plants (good use for males) hung them to dry in an out building, garage, tool shed etc..tell someone you know to be a gossip & sit back & wait. Of coarse you would have sprayed them with a healthy dose of paraquat as soon as you hung them, but HANG them first to minimize your contact with the shit. Keep pets away! We don't want to harm human nor animal. Of coarse thieves aren't human or animal, their scum & we try to clean away that shit!

I was smoking when, who was it, Nixon's? paraquat was the big scare. We never saw any of it in New England.

Anyway, it should be pretty easy to get some hemp seed. Then if and when they get hysted the jokes on them. Grow in a secure place. Be prepared to prosecute any trespassers or thieves on your own property. That's why we pay the gubbermint.

I do know how you feel, but try not to take it personally.

One, the thieves may not be the end users.
They are more likely to be iceheads, crackheads, junkies, etc.
They will steal anything that they can convert to cash for their addiction.

And B., there's every chance that the wrong person will go to jail for aggravated assault, negligent homicide, manslaughter . . .
The poisoned pill approach. or any kine booby trap, is a very bad idea.

Had to come back here. Remembered Nixon and paraquat and agent Orange, lots of stuff the gov't did that where wrong and stupid. Still seem to be on that track. But that just means we can be better than them.

But traps, poison, guns, snakes, hooks,and nails are bad. For lots of reasons, but the one that you might think about, most rippers are people you know, how many of your friends do you really want to hurt bad.

Have been hit so many times, I refuse to count. A few times it may have been a total stranger, or the law but most times finding out hurt more than the loss.
