    Please Help - Frost!

Hi being a newbie, (second year growing) so much to learn! This summer's weather has been terrible on the ladies, went into bud too early, revegged, they no longer look like the Sativa (Krinkle) that they are (tall). They are short BUSHY plants more akin to the Indica. And now if the Smiley Gods didn't think the summer conditions were bad enough they have now thrown frost my way. We have had 2 heavy frosts. All of my plants were covered, but it has been so cold, some of the buds appear slightly frozen. My ladies were put in the ground June 7 (after full moon) and was expecting to harvest mid October. Friday past was to be their last day for feeding and I was going to start flushing. We have good weather coming our way for the remainder of the week, I'm hoping that I haven't lost them to frost, I was planning on beginning their flushing this week.

I have attached a photo, hopefully it will help in deciding if it is too early to harvest. I would hate to lose all my ladies due to frost. Is it too early to harvest? Any suggestions, help would be greatly appreciated. This summer has been a real battle, I don't want to lose everything to frost.
    Thank you

just keep covering them the nights you expect frost. unless you miss a night with a heavy, killing frost you should see a few more weeks to finish.
I'm confused about the 'flushing'. Are your plants in pots?. Outdoor plants don't often need flushing to finish. Flushing usually means flooding with 3x the volume of the bucket or grow bag with water to wash away accumulated mineral salts or to remedy an overdose of something.

Flushing may not be the right word. Two weeks before harvest I stop all fertilizing and give only water. It is my hope to remove any salts, fertilizer etc. I hope I am doing right. I will continue to cover and hope for the best. Thank you for comments.
