I can't tell from the photo but until the roots reach down into the reservoir (bottom 2") they are going to need frequent watering. Cutting the bottom of the roots wasn't helpful. Usually it shouldn't take too long for the roots to find water. Straight perlite can't hold water like the Hempy 75/25 mix. That's what vermiculite does, holds water.

I just re-potted into 5gal hempy bucket from the cup she sprouted in. Straight perlite, 400w mh about 2' above the plants, GH nutes, also using rapid start, Dutch masters gold silica, super thrive, ph'd to 5.6-5.9. They were a little root bound in the cups, the roots had circled the bottom of the cup a few times, also I cut off some of the roots when I cut the bottom of the cup off to transplant, but the others look great.
