She is dying, please help me

I posted this in the sick plant area and no one responds there. I just re-potted into 5gal hempy bucket from the cup she sprouted in. Straight perlite, 400w mh about 2' above the plants, GH nutes, also using rapid start, Dutch masters gold silica, super thrive, ph'd to 5.6-5.9. They were a little root bound in the cups, the roots had circled the bottom of the cup a few times, also I cut off some of the roots when I cut the bottom of the cup off to transplant, but the others look great. First two leaves curled up and over themselves and got real crispy. Then I noticed all the black marks on this other leaf and this one is getting real crispy. Any thoughts to help me save her? I can't tell from the photo but until the roots reach down into the reservoir (bottom 2") they are going to need frequent watering. Cutting the bottom of the roots wasn't helpful. Usually it shouldn't take too long for the roots to find water. Straight perlite can't hold water like the Hempy 75/25 mix. That's what vermiculite does, holds water.

Shovel's right about the roots & the perlite & vermiculite. This plant seems to be transpiring faster than it can take up water. Try spray misting it occasionally (don't over do it) to help slow down transpiration. Good luck.

I am by no means an expert but you have a 400 watt light over a freshly transplanted plant in a 5 gallon hempy bucket, its planted 6" below the lip of the bucket and the top of the perlite is dry 20 minutes after u water it from the heat of the light, your humidity is probably 20% and it has no air because its buried inside a bucket. Post a pic of the set up and not the plant.

I'll get a pic in here soon, but all of the other plants look great so I never even thought about rh, damn. I did so much to hurt them, waited too long to re-pot, cut roots because of a bad re-potting idea, didn't feed them enough when they were smaller. It sucks being new at something.

Did you start spray misting to raise humidity & slow transportation yet? that's important.

Indeed it sucks. Learning about green is like anything good in life....... gotta acquire the skills slowly. Enjoy the ride, hell, I just finished up dealing with a bunch of caterpillars, bud rot & just about every other obstacle one can come across in one grow. Have a nice day.

Don't beat yourself up if you loose this one. Sometimes people loose the whole bunch at first. Pics are good, not as good as up close & personal though. I'm on a cell ph, sm screen, super sm pics, not helpful for analyzing anything, so I'll leave the 'looking' to the guys. But black indicates rapid cell death, if you can't save that one, don't sweat it, just see it as a learning experience & walk away with a little more knowledge than what you had when you started. Stay with the forum & read posts till your eyes burn. There's a lot of info here & a bunch of good guys who are ready & willing to answer questions & offer support. Good luck!

    PEACE!
