    First time grower needing advice...

    Hey all,

I'm a first time grower and a bit uncertain about my single plant. I'm not sure what strain it is, but remember that it was really good bud and I found a seed in it.

So towards the end of summer (southern hemisphere) shortly after moving to my first house with a garden I found the seed and stuck it in the earth, it came up and grew slowly throughout winter. Now being 1/2 way into the first month of spring (with 4 hours of direct sunlight a day) it's been flowering for about 6 weeks. I noticed it started budding a week ago, but the buds are really small. I've done a bit of research on how to know when to harvest and my concern is that the trichomes are already very cloudy, almost white - and I prefer an energetic, head high.

Should I give it more time, perhaps to flower again later in summer or cut my losses and harvest now. Here are some pics I've taken.

It will reveg, which takes a lot of time. The buds should stop growing and the leaves will slowly start to grow. At the end of the Summer it should be back to good shape and start to flower up. You can feed and care for this plant and harvest a crop in the fall. I would cut the buds now, dry 'em and smoke 'em. It won't be much. Leave as much leaf material as possible and feed with a decent vegging plant food. Something with good percentage of nitrogen (the first number of the NPK). Maybe get it a little sister to grow with?

Thanks, I was hoping someone would say that. So that is what I'll do. I managed to get hold of a 70's Haze and Tribal Vision seed - yup, sadly only one of each - and they'll get planted within a month or so.

    Thanks again!

I wouldn't wait. I'd plant now. The more plant you have, the more bud you get. Since I'm not familiar with the growing seasons of the southern hemisphere. ..... Shovel, what's your opinion?

Problem is I'm getting builders in within the next two or three weeks to 'secure' the back garden and best for them, and of course me, not to notice the treasures that will come.
