Can't get high

Hey everyone, I'm a new smoker and about 7 weeks ago me and two friends started smoking weed, both of them (who smoked weed before) got high, but I didn't, because this was the first time I thought that it was just how weed works, but now I've done it 3 times and still not got high where they have, I usually have one joint to myself and just don't get high, I've never smoked before so it's probably that I don't take in the smoke properly, any tips?

The reason people get 'high' is because the cannabinoid receptors and THC receptors in the brain connect....If your THC receptors were already open they would not open any further - you may perpetually high and not know it!

Yea, here is a tip. You have no experience smoking, so you are most likely not doing it right. You can't just suck and blow like Bill Clinton. You need to inhale. Here is how you can be sure to inhale. Hit the joint. Before you exhale, breathe in. The smoke will then be carried into your lungs. You will know you are doing it right because the smoke will cause you to choke a little, it will scratch your throat, especially being a newbie. Hold the smoke in for a few moments, then you exhale. You will most likely have to cough, but don't worry, that is totally normal, and I always used to feel like coughing got me higher. If the smoke is too harsh on you, you could always consider investing in a vaporizer, those hits are smooth as silk.

So remember, inhale. If you inhale and you are still not getting high, well maybe you are the rare case that is unaffected by THC. Or you are buying fake weed and your friends are liars. Hope this helps.

When I first started smoking weed when I was 13-14 we smoked it some funky ways at first since my friends and I didn't know either. At one point we used some newspaper and just twisted it as best we could....Anyway I just wanted to say that I didn't get high until smoking it like 5-6 times and then me and one of my friends got so high for the first time and couldn't stop laughing.
