a recent study shows that homosexuality is biological, not choice. While I respect Torog's right to his opinion I do not agree with it. Tired of hearing, and trying to ignore homophobes. I'm sorry, you are wrong. I know a young man, grew up being the "real boy", went into the service, did his time, He happens to be gay. He fought it his whole life. He tried religion, and all the bunk. Finally after trying to kill himself because of the shame, (an act he nearly suceeded at) He got some help. Because his Mother did not disown him, he'll cope. Unfortunately his Father told him he should be dead. He's a hard working young man, (works for our gov't by the way), clean, quiet and well mannered. He doesn't smoke, drink, or engage in promiscuity. I happen to Love him, he's my son. He's also a much better person than I am. I don't bash long haired, hippy, pot smoking Grandpa's, (that happen to be republican) Or their non-christian spouses. (I'm a born again Christian). To each his own life. At judgement you will not be asked to answer for anyone but yourself, I will answer, I love my son.

I would like to point out,that I have not yet expressed my opinions or beliefs,about gays in this thread..or even about the article I posted,I presume that you are referring to my previous hateful comments about gays..much of which,I have apologized for,already.

After my daughter was sexually molested as a young girl,at the hands of a male bisexual,I feared that she would grow up hating men,and turn lesbian..praise the Lord--that she did not. As for the study that you refer to,who conducted the study ? Was it amoral,God-less,liberals with an agenda ? I would never dis-own my daughter,even if she had turned to lesbians for a relationship..and if homosexuality,is indeed biological,it is a biological flaw,because humans reproduce heterosexually..not through homosexual acts.

I posted this article,because it highlights the snobbish superiority of liberal,secular elitists,who believe that they know what's best for our children,and seek to undermine parental authority and religious beliefs..and to heck with the consequences of doing such..because they believe that their agenda of teaching tolerance,is more important than the relationship between a parent and child.

I believe that you are right to love your son unconditionally,and that you are doing the right thing..I commend you for it,and I apologize if my words have hurt you..my intent is not to hurt or demean,but to fight for my rights as a parent,to raise my child as I see fit..not the way some amoral,secularist believes that I should . Teaching tolerance in this manner,is denying my child and I,the right to religious freedom and belief,and is a direct intervention between children and their parents.

My first husband was a "heterosexual" man that wanted his children raised his way. If that took beating the crap out of a six year old, too bad he was teaching his way. I did eventually make it out with my kids, who were all raised in a heterosexual, church going home. You raise your daughter your way (She must be grown by now) as I'm sure she is perfect. A pedophile is not the same thing as a gay person. Who is better equiped to raise kids, A poor teenage couple, or a financially stable educated couple ? At least my son didn't have kids he wasn't ready for at 16! lolI would much rather see people such as my son raising children than someone with little or no tolerance for others. By the way!! I was brought up to believe that a man with facial hair is a sneaky person with something to hide. A man with long hair was considered to have feminine traits!! LOl, Better get a haircut, or the Holy rollers will tell their kids you're a boogie-man. LMAO ) Torog, I usually ignore a lot of things I don't agree with, let's get off the whole subject. Just think, 50 years ago you may have been debating interracial marriage.
