deformed growth, please take a look
I feed every other day with 1 gal, I never give them just water. The gallon every other day has enough runoff to flush the bucket and they never go without food. The first week I concentrate most of the nutes in the middle of the bucket to keep the tap root heading straight down to the res. My first time doing hempys I did like a lot of people do and waited 3-4 days between feeding and it took forever for the tap root to hit the res, had some nute def, and my ph and ppm of my runoff was crazy. Doing it the way I do it now iv had no problems, if the ppm's of my runoff climbs, I back off the nutes accordingly. A gallon may seem wasteful for the first and second week but its a good way to avoid problems and get the tap root to the bottom. I see you do mini hempys, I like going directly into my final bucket that way I only have to wait for the roots to hit the Rez once, no transplant. It's just the way I do it. Best advice I can give is to remember its hydro, not soil, it doesn't need to dry out before feedings.
