Flowering clones turning brown. PLEASE HELP.
What is your experience level?
Novice/Experienced (I have done LOTS of research and reading, but not much hands on experience)
Your medium:
1) Specific brand and type of soil?
Fox Farm Ocean Forest with Fox Farm Happy Frog Fruit&Flower Top dressing.
2) Size of container?
3 and 7 Gallon (two sets of clones, a few are older than the others)
Your nutrients and water:
10) Source of water?
Tap adjusted to Ph. 6.5-6.8
11) Method of checking water ph.?
Hydroponic ph control kit
12) Method of adjusting water ph.?
ph up & ph down
13) Specific brand and N-P-K ratio for each bottle?
Fox farm big bloom(NPK 0.01-0.3-0.7, current dosage 2TBS per gallon)
Fox Farm tiger bloom (NPK 2-8-4, current dosage 1TSP per gallon)
Feed every other or every third watering
14) How often are you watering between feedings, and how much per watering?
I water once or twice between feedings, about 0.25 gallons for the 2 gallon pots, 0.50 gallons for the 7 gallon.
15) Any additives or tea's? (Superthrive, CalMag, molasses, Mother's Earth...)
No
16) Are your ph levels stable, or do they fluctuate?
I try my best to keep water, feeding mix and run off water at 6.5-6.8.
17) What is your ingoing water's ph? ...your runoff ph?
6.5-6.8, 6.5-6.8
18) Do you foliar feed? If so, with what, how often, and at what time do you spray?
I dont feed, but I do use organic insecticides.
Bayer advanced neem oil, and monterey organic garden spray with spinosad.
Mostly to control thrips and aphids.
Your growroom:
19) Indoors or outdoors?
Outdoor
20) What size of closet, room or hut?
Open space
21) What are the temps and humidity levels while lights are on? ...With lights off?
Avg day time high 95, Avg night time low 60
22) Have you seen signs of insects in the growroom?
Aphids during veg but only once and they were gone, and thrips occasionally, but once I spray they are dead by the next morning
Your strain:
23) What strain are you growing?
Purple Lights (Northern Lights x Trainwreak)
24) From seeds or clones?
I have one mother plant which is from bag seed, but the only plants with problems are these 2 month old clones that I took from it.
25) Is this an autoflower strain?
I dont think so
I took pictures of separate leaves to try and show you the three stages of the "problem", before the leaf finally dies. It only takes 1-2 days for a leaf to go from stage 1 to 3.
Stage 1
Attachment 294408
Stage 2
Attachment 294407
Stage 3
Attachment 294406
I thought it was a cal-mag deficiency at first sign of stage one, but feeding hasn't made it any better. Please Help.MrGrowBig Reviewed by MrGrowBig on . Flowering clones turning brown. PLEASE HELP. It isnt overfeeding. Ive only given them water (ph 6.8).
I fed them once a few days ago, after this problem had already started.
The flowers look better, but the leaves are still turning brown.
I also sprayed with neem which didn't help either.
I'm convinced it is some type of deficiency that my nutrients dont take care of, or maybe a type of mold.
I have only given them water since that last feeding so they are completely flushed.
I really just need someone to give me a specific deficiency or someone that knows if this is a mold/fungus.

Flowering clones turning brown. PLEASE HELP.
Did another search, and I dont understand how I missed this thread the first 10 times but here ya go..
http://boards.cannabis.com/plant-pro...ks-flower.html
Seems to have the same exact issue only his plants are 4 weeks into flower and mine are almost at 3 weeks.
He fed it a dose of cal-mag (i initially thought it was a calmag deficiency).. And it improved over night.
I dont have any cal mag but my nutrients have a small percentage of calcium and magnesium.
I really don't want to go buy another bottle of nutrients so I think I am just going to put them on a regular feeding schedule with the nutes i have, and hopefully they will get better eventually.
I will keep you updated if things get better or worse.

Flowering clones turning brown. PLEASE HELP.
It's probably viral or fungus there are hundreds of different kinds and the only safe thing that covers most of them is Actinovate put it in your Google, I got a demotion for posting a link , you should be able to get it at a garden center.

Flowering clones turning brown. PLEASE HELP.
I don't think its a fungus. Because the buds and sugar leaf would be affected by this too, but they are healthy with no problems.
Seems they are just "borrowing" nutrition from the fan leafs.

Flowering clones turning brown. PLEASE HELP.
The new growth is more resistant to viral and fungus so that's where it shows first and if it is fungus or viral you will see it in your buds later as a flowering plant is under extreme stress because it isn't pollinated and that's its purpose to reproduce. CYA.....
