***eBay 600 Watt LED and First Grow Journal/EXPERIMENT***

Hello everyone! I am Louie420:smokin:, a first time grower, and I am using nothing but the knowledge I have procured from the internet and YouTubes various videos:thumbsup:. So far, I purchased a 600 Watt LED grow light, from eBay. A 4' in Inline Fan rated at 160 CFM with Fan Speed Control, from eBay. A 4' in activated carbon filter, from eBay. As well as 2ML thick reflective Mylar, also from eBay. (links to everything I am using will be at the bottom of this post, I want to make it VERY CLEAR that I am in no way promoting these items, this is MY set-up the links are for INFORMATIONAL purposes). Many people have told me that LED technology is not there yet. Well this is an experiment to figure out if what is being said is true.
People have varying opinions on LED Growing technology, I don't think the rumors are true anymore. I am willing to use my own grow as an experiment to show realistic results in a small scale closet grow, using LED technology I found on eBay. I will begin from clones, haven't decided on the strains (for genetics, time related purposes) although I have yet to decide on the growing medium too. For the growing medium I am not looking for organic, I am open to suggestions as far as soil mixes or soil-less mixes, nutrients etc. and even critique, I am simply trying to grow the correct way the first time I don't expect it will be easy. That does not mean I expect amazing results with this grow but I am putting everything out there, and I am willing to put forth the effort necessary to grow the best medication possible. If you guys have questions about the set up please ask, I am also open to PM messages with any tips you might have. Like I said I have no growing experience.
