Rained cats & dogs last night. Up @ 3:00a.m. tending to leaning branches but way too dark to analyse/remedy. Hopefully still ok when sun comes up? OUCH!

I feel your pain. That's the kinda shit that breaks your big dense buds, & thoese that don't break get so waterloged they start to grow mould, mildew, & other nasty fungus. We had steady rain all night, but not hard driven rain. Now that morning's here, it looks like more rain. Nasty dense grey sky. I hope for your sake the sun comes out enough to dry your ladies. You've put so much work & pride into them & they're beautiful. Its times like this when you need a TRUSTED friend to help you shake the water out of your buds & tie them up. Moral support too. Makes me love greenhouses.
Keep us posted. If we don't hear from you any time soon, I'll assume you're working some major damage control.
DAMNED NASTY ASS EAST COAST WEATHER. Wish you the best my friend.

Mother earth has looked upon you & smiled, my friend. I saw your pics & it's amazing that you didn't have to shake thise big fat collas. You must have some really good air flow into your garden. Cant really tell becausethe pics are tight & ddon't really show the surrounding area, just the ladies, but I couldn't see anything offering protection from the elements. I get big rolls of 6ml plastic, build a sturdy frame, tent or house shape. Leave it uncovered on good days, but throw the plastic (20 X 100') over the frame before the rains. On super hot days, I cover it with white shading material. Since I sew, I usually make my own by getting an entire bolt of gauze/cheese cloth & sew it together to fit the frame. When the temps reach triple digits, I throw in an oscillating fan. But hell, when temps are over100, even white bed sheets will do, still lets enough light through. But when temp is that high, dense shade is ok because plants shut down respiration, photosynthesis & all that shit. They only need enought light to not be fooled into thinking its night & messing up their photo period. Your ladies are nice enough to be worth the extra work. I can't do that here cause cops & thieves could see it from the road, but I did this for years at the farm. Better than a greenhouse. We should be neighbors, we could be grow buddies. ;-)

So right tlranger! For now it seems she smiled on Esteban, but that back hand swing could be her SLAPPING him with a nasty case of bud rot!
Hear that Esteban? Don't be offended if I'm telling you things you already know. Gently spread the buds open & try to see inside as close to the stem as you can get without brusing your bud & check for any type of fungus growth. I don't advocate toxic chemicals on your smoke, but if you see fungus, you may have to do it. If you do, when you harvest rinse that shit off as well as you can & hang dry them somewhere warm with a fan on them till the waters gone, then dry in your usual way. Do you have an oscillating fan or two you can take to your garden after rains? It's just been way too wet on everybody's grow, which we all know is manageable in vegetative, but damned, I do worry about bud rot. Your girls are too pretty to loose.
Tlranger, do you have a natural remedy for fungus just incase Mother Nature does give him the nasties?
