Sorry you took offense to my post. I apologize - I will explain with more detail:

Growing in soil, you have very little to worry about, your list of concerns is maybe 15 lines on a sheet of paper.

Growing in ANY sort of hydro setup, you have about 2.5 pages of concerns, not one of them really any more important than the next.

So in concerns of keeping it as basic as possible, you should avoid hydro. Hydro is never basic (until you get the hang of it, then its just natural)

I have just transplanted 4 bushys from soil to perlite and wondering if its ok to use organic fertolisers such as seasol & powerfeed (liquid fert)- both Australian co's. these r the only nutrients I have worked with in the past and have had good results.
