Thought i'd come back now that i've read up on the 360 some more.

I have to say, and in fear of contradicting myself, the specs are very impressive. It will most definitely be the best looking console (unless they abuse it like they did with XBox resulting in slow, crummy looking games). I stand by my comments on the games. Alan Wake? Demonik? Condemned? They are ALL coming out on every other console or PC. Quake 4 and Call of Duty WILL be better (and cheaper) to play on PC.

Yippee, another Tony Hawks game, and Tomb Raider too. Just what we needed, more sequels. The thing with Microsoft is they're only strategy is to buy off developers. They'll have barely any games exclusive to the 360 (don't mention Halo, i'm aware they'll milk it for what it's worth).

As for multiplayer, you guys are aware Nintendo are planning a wireless, free online service with their console right? Xbox live will become ridiculously expensive and ultimately, nowhere near as good as PC multiplayer. PC prevails over all, does anyone really need to spend money on technology they already have for the sake of hype? Especially when a the games console lacks the games.

To be honest, I could care less that Nintendo make more kiddy games. Who gives a fuck? Do I need more blood to enjoy a game? Nope, I need entertainment and the most kiddyest of games on Gamecube were fricking great (Monkey Ball, Zelda, nothing like them on ANY other console). As you may have guessed, I have a PC ! I get all the violence and online fun I need from Half Life 2, Doom 3, soon Quake 5, etc, etc. The problem with the 360 is I see nothing new and games are about change for the better. If you guys wanna spend $400+ on something that you won't need and most likely won't stand the test of time (Xbox has been out for what? 3 years with something like 3 truly astounding games, which I can't think of right now), be my guest, be appeased. I'll be right next to the real-deal until they let me down, which they never, EVER have.

Amen!
