browned tips on leaves

hi again, i gave my plants some fert. the next day some of the leaves had brown tips i thinki burned them with the fert. how do you cure this problem. should i flush the roots with regular water

yes, and don't fert for a while. this is nothing serious

over fertelization isn't a big deal, it just means the plant has exceeded the amount of nutrients it can take in... but it also burns the fine roots. so don't do it often. when closing in on the conversion to 12/12 i dose up on the fert to make sure it has the max. it'll take.

and damaged leaves can't be fixed. but a healthy plant can handle it and will quickly grow more. stay away from the ferts until they show signs of needing another dose then dilute to half-strength of what directions state. if leaves continue to die off over the next couple days, flush well and transplant inti bigger pot with fresh soil added and give a heavy dose of super-thrive...
