I'd put each in a 5 gallon, like you mentioned. As far as timing, depends on the strain, your space and how much lighting you use. For one 600 watt HPS I'd let it veg for a while, 2' tall then flower. For 400 w or less I'd go earlier

I am using 1 600w MH right now. I think Im gonna add another 600W very soon. I am using AN Sensi grow. PH is 5.7 and water temp 72. room stays between 70 and 72 (pretty good for attic grow in NC) have AC and ocillating fan, also have 2- 4 " ducts from downstairs feeding fresh air in and 1-6" exhaust pulling through cool tube. I am 3 weeks and 3 days into veg from seeds....well actually 4 weeks since Rating: 5
