    milky so soon?

I know someone who grows in the ground outdoors in well amended soil. This is his 5th grow, so he has the basics down and has a pretty good idea of how and when things happen. All previous grows were from seeds, this year he used clones that he bought from an unknown source on CL. The strain was said to be Skywalker, but who can know for sure. This grow is also the first attempt at a SCROG, and it's working out awesome. There are so many more bud sites then the usual LST that was used on previous grows. Everything looks great and these plants look VERY healthy. They started to do some budding and stretching about 1 week ago, and many of the tiny buds have a good coating of frost. The weird thing is the trichs are already milky when they appear, and there are even some amber ones showing up.

This does not seem good, because if that happens all along much of the THC will have degraded by harvest time. This is my opinion, has anyone else had this experience?

The only thing that we can think of that could cause the plants to do something like this is that a LOT of trimming has been done to the underside. Most all of the leaves below the screen have been removed, along with spindly branches and potential pop corn buds. This crop looks like it will be the highest yield so far, but the trichs are a concern.

The grow space is approx. 3x9 ft and the screen is about 1.5 ft above ground level, and there are 4 plants. Nutes during veg. are Alaska fish emulsion 2 tsp every watering , and every few waterings about a cup of human urine is added to the fish ferts (it won't kill you, look it up), also top cover with worm castings. For budding it's FF Big Bloom and molasses made up tea style using a aquarium pump for aeration for 24 or more hours. Each plant gets 1 gallon every 2 days, less when it cools down in a month or so. After a few weeks of budding bat guano will be added either as a tea or top cover.

There hasn't been much of an insect problem this year, but for control Organocide, the yellow White Fly sticky traps, Green Lacewings and the worm castings are used, plus there are usually some friendly spiders and other predator bugs that show up on their own . The main bad insect here in White Fly, but there are also Leaf Hoppers, that seem to do little to no damage.

    Hope that's enough info.

Check the humidity and temp and look at the trichs in the morning.
