"Eating holes in your brain" is vastly oversimplified. There are no physical holes in your brain; it's a term that's scary to anyone, regardless of their age or scientific knowledge. It depletes the serotonin from your brain, and may decrease blood flow to some areas, but that's in high doses. I'd question which is more dangerous, ecstasy or chocolate, in excessive doses. Actually, pretty much everything the government says lists doses much higher than are used by "normal users", which is what makes the stats seem so scary to the otherwise uninformed public.
