Under DHHS regulations, if the sample is outside the acceptable range of 90-100F, the collector instructs the donor to immediately submit another urine sample and under direct observation. The collector will then process and send off both samples, and indicate on the 'Remarks' space of the CFF that a re-submit under direct observation had occurred, and the reason(s) why.
