    You need to include more info, is the plant yellow or is it your camera/lighting, it should be much larger at 40 days.

    ^^^ ditto. The plant looks undersize and pale. It's probably in need of proper nutrition. It's actually short for 40 days but the growth is sparse so it appears streatchy.

    What lights are you using for this plant. Perhaps you need more. I use cfls which are a foot away from my girls (unusual for this lighting)and nodes are max 1 inch apart. Give your girl some food too. She looks anorexic lol. Check online for some decent ferts, or if you are on a budget go to any pound/dollar store and buy some tomato feed with added kelp. Its real cheap and works just fine if ur on a budget.
