I had never heard of water curing prior to this thread but after reading up on it I am curious.

It seems pretty simple, submerge buds, change water daily for a few days, dry bud normally and your good to go. No need to flush plants prior to harvest and no need for the long glass cure and burp time. Leaves the final product smoother and cleaner than standard methods. Best of all the entire process can take less than 10 days. All good selling points to me but there are cons as well.

The biggest con I saw was the loss of finish weight. One post I read on this said figure for every 1.5 grams of normal cure a water cure would yield 1 gram. This may be explained by the bud releasing more of the stuff you don't want leaving the stuff you do want in a more condensed form. The other con is the bag appeal of the water cured bud, not as pretty as the traditional method.

I may try some this fall, do a few ounces like this and the rest regular and see what happens. I found this thread explaining the process but it's on a different forum so no link from me. Just search for Green X how to's Water Curing and you should find it.
