I recently bought an EC testrt off ebay, this one in fact: Hydroponics Water Digital EC Conductivity Tester Meter

I don't get how you convert the meter readings from µS/cm to EC.

When I measured just plain tap water I get a meter reading of 141µS/cm and with nutrient I get a reading of 249µS/cm

How do i do the conversion to EC, i'm looking for an EC of about 1.5?
