Yellowing, brown edges & spots - Noob needs some professional assistance

Hello Fellow Cannaboids,

I've got a problem with my plant. The colyteons and 2 other bottom leaves have gone brown and died.
The current bottom ones are going yellow. They have brown edges too.
Some of the other leaves have brown spots and edges too.

Please advise.

Some more info:- I am growing it indoors inside a PC tower grow box. I am using a veg-state CFL bulb approx 6inchs above it. The compost is a miracle-gro compost.

It's the compost, plants need a medium that has all the nutrients, good drainage, water retention and lose enough for good root growth.

thanks lipps. could you recommend a compost for me to use?

1/3 Canadian peat, 1/3 sterile cow manure, 1/3 Perlite should get it done

You can check for a ready made soil at a nursery and they make them pretty close to what Esteban say. Check out 707 from Roots Organic or Sunshine Pro Mix or their #4 mix.
