Made me think of the Space Bags... If you HAVE enough, that is! LOL!

But I'm thinking the best option is glass/metal containers that you can seal totally and have very very full. There are many options in canning jars for sizes you can use, and then leave in a cool, dark area (or fridge/freezer). I know some people take herbs and freeze them with water into ice cubes for long term use, so freezing should be a good option for this as well.

(no experience yet, but just thinking what would be the easiest long-term storage in consideration of other food storage issues)
