HAve you ever seen anyone do that "worlds smallest violin" thing. It is almost like you are trying to snap or click your fingers. Look at your hands and do it slowly. Your index and middle fingers should stop on the pads of your thumbs. If your still with me, it is the key to rolling a solid "J" on the go or at home.

Once you tighten the paper around the bulk of the weed, cradle it to distribute the weed evenly. Just when think that you are ready to "Snap" it shut, lick the glue and roll your thumbs up and outwards towards the end of the paper. You should have it. If not, try again.

As far as rolling the "Bob Marley"- I don't feel the need. I just roll 2 or 3 and keep the party going. Don't be afraid to spill a little- do it over a creased sheet of white paper.

You will get better with practice so until you're confident in your skills don't try it at a party so some as-swipe can make a comment about the crap rolling job you just did.

TRY THIS
Another hint to enjoying the joint as it burns down,
-cut a piece of a plastic (yes plastic!!!) straw about 12 cm. (3") long.
-If there is a incense stick around, that would be ideal (if not a smigarette) will do. Use it to burn a small whole in the side of the straw that will act as a carb.
-fit the joint into the end of the straw, add fire and start your own revolution.

I think it goes without saying when the cherry of the joint comes close to the plastic, crush out said cherry with the butt of your lighter. If you smoke the straw you should run to the nearest wall and put your head through it,

This the easiest way to pass a joint from friend to friend without crushing the end, which would otherwise become thick with resin and difficult to hit.
