First ever grow. Got caught short handed - advice?

Hey, I currently have 3-4 sprouts sat on my window sill. I am really into gardening and do all kinds. Herbs, veg, flowers etc. Anyway my friend is trying to grow his own weed and I asked for a few seeds he had laying around (no idea of strain) as I wanted an interesting challenge. I let them soak in water for two days and since I didn't notice any roots I thought they were duds, but potted them anyway just incase.

Anyhoo about a week or two later, after I thought they were gonners and were never going to sprout one of them goes ahead and pops its head up out of the soil. After about 4-5 days of growth he is already at 2.5inches and is still shooting up. Two others have come up after him, one at nearly one inch after about 2 days of growth and the other just poking his head out and unfolding in the last few hours. I think another one is getting ready to show but not sure just yet.

Anyway, I am 2 weeks away from payday when I plan to buy some soil, pots, lighting etc to stick in my cupboard. But what the heck shall I do until then?? I am kind of worried as I didn't realise they would start growing quite so quickly and I dunno how much more they are going to grow in the next 2 weeks!

    The big'un

    The second one

    The third one

Anyone got any advice? I am planning to keep it pretty simple, a few 300W CFL's hanging from the ceiling on chains so that the height is adjustable, a 9inch fan, larger pots (unsure what size just yet) some peat soil with perlite and some Miracle Grow Organic All Purpose Plant Food.

hey littleleaf firstly I would get them plants into seperate pots. giving them there own root space. how big is your cupboard? do youmean 300 actual watts or equivalent to incandescent( household lightbulbs) for the cfl's. and go online for sum decent ferts. I have onlyheard bad things about miracle grow. fox farms ferts are a good start.

Oh the plants? Oh yeah good point haha, I guess I don't want to jinx it  Just bad habit from my majority of male pets

I will try and hunt around for some bigger pots I am sure I can find something. Just seemed to have ran out of everything at the wrong moment haha. At the moment for plant food i am just using what I have laying around. It is Baby Bio for herbs. They seem happy enough with it so far but will try and pick something else up when I can.

The ladies are really shooting up

    1st one now 3 inches
2nd one now just under 2 inches
3rd one that was unfolding last night is already at just under one inch
4th one that was barely visible under the soil is already up and getting ready to pop her leaves out

Anyway, for lights I was thinking of picking up some generic power saving grower CFL's. So 30w = 150w etc. Floor space of the closet is 27 inches x 37 inches approx. Height is 68 inches approx. I would like to stick to CFL's as there isn't too much space for much else.

    Thanks

Also, I am mostly worried about potential smell. Anyone know a decent cheap way of keeping things subtle??

I found a bag of potting compost in my shed and managed to find enough little pots to separate them out individually. Gave them a little water to help them settle in and hopefully they wont be too traumatized by the transplant

They seem alright, starting to concentrate more on the leaves now by the looks of things.

Things have gotten pretty cold and miserable over here in the UK, typical summer haha. I think this may slow them down but they don't seem to affected other wise.

Will hopefully pick up some lights and take them into the cupboard where it is nice and warm.

    Some pictures of the ladies

    Nearly there
