Hi everyone! I'm a 42 years young gal. I moved from Austin, Texas to the San Franacisco north bay area four years ago. Love it! I started smoking occasionally not long after I moved here. I didn't know much about the medical benefits of marijuana until I smoked after hurting my back. A light bulb moment ensued. I was amazed at how much it helped. I have depression and anxiety which I take meds for. I also have fibromyalgia and a very painful female issue (sorry guys) that puts me at a 9.5 on the richter scale for three days a month. With doctors reluctant to prescribe muscle relaxers or pain meds I was thrilled to have found something that covered such a wide array of health issues. I became a card carrying MMJ patient about a year and a half ago. I'm really interested in learning which strains work best for specific issues. And I'm hoping to learn more about cannabis in general and meet other patients and enthusiasts. Cheers!

Please stay away from the pain medication. If you're depressed and anxious now, if you got a narcotic habit it would be a lot worse.
