I know this sounds totally nuts - but if you are into trying something new try this:

Herbs for your heart - ashwaghanda - it's a root powder that you mix with water then choke down- tastes terrible and you can make pills out of it but it really strengthens muscles tissue -which your heart isâ?¦
Tulsi Tea ( yes I talk about it as much as weed!) - it is a potentiator(sp) to cannabis as well as helps to regulate Blood Sugar and cardiac function without worries of it interacting with any pharmaceuticals that the physcian may have you on. ( also an excellent odoriferous plant- actually quite a heady smell that covers almost any other smell when growing)
Shizandra will also help with energy levels without effecting you like caffeine effects your heart - also coca leaf tea is better then coffee too

Now if you are really out there try some crystals -
Selenite under you bed at nite
Sugulite around your neck or in your pocket
    And Aquamarine

Life is about balance and it is supposed to be fun- enjoy those seeds and be sure to keep us posted!

Far far from it, I'm carry a pouch of friendship blessed stones in my shirt pocket, instead of a cell phone!. My Indian braided hemp and beaded bracelet. And my mountain witch made and blessed silver and hemp necklace.

Herbs, sounds positively sensible. :angelsmiley: will try and check it out, any suggestion where to look?

Mountain Rose Herbs sells fresh herbs as does Horizon Herbs ( I LOVE Richo's write ups about the different herbs he sells)

If you happen to have a green thumb you can grow them all- tulsi re seeds just like any other plant from the basil family.
Ashwaghanda likes it hot and dry but germinates easily
Shizandra- still working on germinating that one- it can take over 1 yr for that seed to germinate BUT once it does it forms a bush that readily reseeds itself….

crystal I am a former geologist and as such I tend to view stones on a scientific level, ON THE SURFACE. Fact of the matter is, I more or less worship stone and mineral, as well as the processes that give rise to the incredible spectrum of crystalline substrate that all of us grow from (God I hope my former Professors read this). I don't know how much I can follow crystal power/healing and such, but I have an extensive collection of minerals and rocks from all over the world that give me an irrational amount of pleasure and insight. I am never happier than when I am surrounded by stones and plants. The energy I sense from stones is something I have kept to myself for all of my years because it does not jive with my vocation as a scientist, but it is something I will take happily to the grave.

:jointsmile:Sounds like I'm not the only one here into Wicca & native american shamanism! !!! I'm totally into the powers & energies of stone, crystals & plants! Blessed Be & Goddess Bless! I actually need to smudge this place with white sage to dispell negativity, after the bs that went down here today! Chromophore, I learned a long ago everything can't be explained scientifically. At the U of Delaware, many professors are wiccan. I've done the sweat lodge thing with them & incense & crystal seminars. Just remember, education should OPEN our eyes, so its OK to think outside the box! I think you'd do your old professor proud! I think some of us feel drawn together because of more than just cannabis!
-- Crystal, just like many herbs, working best in unison with each other, pot sometimes does too. I should probably should say ALWAYS, because I can't think of one medicinal herb that SHOULDNT be combined with pot. Its an HERB! & that's a fact! My favorite thing for my insomnia is a bowl, chamomile tea & maybe a valarian root capsule. While all three are great, that combination just does it for me. No narcotic hangover from zombie land.
-- Ranger, not trying to say I told you so, just trying to say see what I mean. Remember I told you to hook up with Crystal when you first came home from the hospital? See what I mean? She' s a healer. She can HELP you. I meant it when I told you that you are NOT replaceable! It made me so happy to see you talking to Crystal about your health & about the blessed friendship stones in your pocket. I'll bet money that they are in a little drawstring MOJO bag! Hahaha! I work stones, crystals (& especially turquoise) into my dream catchers & things & I wear an awesome pentagram. I use a lot of hematite, as it grounds & dispells negativity. The next smudge stick I burn will have pot stems worked into it. Fuming with pot & sage should bring a peaceful atmosphere. Ranger, I'm interested in hearing more about your mountain witch. You've mentioned her a few times now, so I know you want to talk about her!

My whole life has revolved around stones and plants - they go together like peanut butter and jelly!

Ranger- would love to see you working with a little peice of dioptase too….It really helps us to find that place inside ourselves where we find we really don't have to forgive ourselves or others - we just perceive the issue a little differently. Dioptase also has a high percentage of copper so it is especially great for working with muscle tissue.

oh yeah cat - try this recipe - ranger you may like it too- it's definitely better than anything that is prescribed.
    1 pt. green dragon
    1 pt. lemon balm
    1 pt passion flower
    1 pt valerian root

    Great tranquilizer and anxiety reliever!

Going to try this!! Thanks very much, my survivors club is all about finding anything we can. So please want to hear any thing you can think of.

Cat, it sure is. Thou hand sewn shut. Try to get out of the box, has caused me some problems, but has helped me more in every thing I have done. Usually tends to confuse people in the beginning.

What!?!? No Chamomile!?!? LOL! I'll try that. Guess you can tell by the times that I've posted (time beside of date, top left hand side), that I have sleep issues. I don't get up early, just go to sleep REALLY late, sleep an hr or two, awake an hr or so, then up again till almost noon & start it all over. I sleep maybe 3-4 hrs & its split up through out the day. I need to get my sleep in order, its stressing all my other health issues, especially anxiety & colitis. Been fighting insomnia all my life & there seems to be no permanent cure.
    ~PEACE!~
