    got a call

Protect & serve got twisted into control & intimidate while we were standing back with our heads hanging down, trying not to draw their attention. But there's still too much old hippie in me, I say speak out & be heard!
-- History DOES have a way of repeating itself, eh? People say it often, but if they REALLY took heed, there'd be no reason to beat a dead horse. I'm not sure if I'm angrier at the government, or at the people; because the people sit on their asses & let this shit happen. Perfect example of 'give them an inch & they'll take a mile.
-- I've been 'politicaly angry' ever since Uruguay's legalization & the antics of the U.N. & so glad their president won't back down & is fighting back for his beliefs. Sure wish more people here had his spunk. Our founding fathers had it. Where did it go? When did it leave us? Its like we turned our heads for a min &, POOF! It was gone. I think maybe it was ww11 & the great depression; somehow got us pointed in the wrong direction. Im wondering if we'll regain our spunk before we stampede OVER the cliff, or plumet into the ocean like a bunch of lemming..... humm.
-- Guess I'm becoming quite the rebel rouser in my old age, so I'll climb down from my soap box before I get my blood pressure up ! LOL!

Crystal - am very glad to be home, some blamed my busy summer on my heart prob.relapse. But still think it was worth it. Saw a while different life, and seeing close to 200lbs of green all harvested and trimmed was very satisfying. Bigfoot headed back out to grow, leaving tomorrow to get this year's crop started. Told me today to rest up, wants me to come back.
But on mountain right now is not going to fly with my family or my doctors. Heard today about how lucky I was, again. Starting to wonder how many lives I have left.

But this place is like my sanctuary, always some thing to entertain me. Was told by my grandfather, you can go for the money, or the entertainment. Have tried to do the latter. He also taught me how to grow stuff. My other gf taught me moonshining, which seem to have been my start in chemistry and security.

Hope all have a great new year,I plan on it.

Hey Ranger! My daddy was a WV moonshiner! (Actually, during the great depression, I think everybody was back in the mountains!)
-- If I'd have been at a harvest of 200 lbs, I'd have been found burried under buds with a smile on my face! That's a place I'd have found hard to leave for sure!
-- You're definitely one who likes living life to the fullest. My dad once said my Uncle Tom had more lives than an ole tom cat. That's definitely you man!
-- Listening to the snow plows today was so depressing. I really hate winter. So looking forward to the end of May. I need some warm sun! Happy plans for the grow this coming summer. Gonna be FUN! (& productive)!

Looks like I'll be starting over this spring, hard for me to believe this winter has been so tough. Lost all my clones and mothers while boys where in charge. Problem I think was, you've have to be committed, and that means everyday, not just even you can.

But did bring back a good taste of cali, Bigfoot have me the vaping supplies for my work at Xmas, and I got couple hundred seeds(3 different kinds) to start over.

Ummm. Starting over can be either fun or just hard work. It mostly depends on your mood & attitude when you approach it. Just think of how pretty growing plants are, instead of envisioning your hands wrapped around the boys necks!

Wow...Just read the whole thread. tlranger? You hang in there buddy. Slow it down a little...please. You,Catbuds,Shovelhandle, weezard and several other people are why I am here. I wanted to learn my friend, and learn from experience and knowledge that people like you have.
There comes a time when the Old bull needs to let the young ones do the work while he passes along the knowledge gained with years of exp.
I'm not exactly a young bull, but I'm all ears.
