    Sumer Solstice

Question..... Been mulling over taking some of my indoor grow outdoors but had issues last year with "Hermies". So, with the Sumer solstice around the corner will it be safe to take indoor grow outdoors? Will still be well over 15 hours of sun but obviously waning after the 21st. Any comments would be well received. Peace

Been waiting for your comments on this, since the reference in your grow log. Try to use nature's clock to my advantage when ever I can. Just broke one of my own rules this week, never bring something outside in. Used the sun the last couple of weeks to veg a group of ladies. When they hit 22", into the bloom tent they went. Also like to limit size by late planting. But this is so controlled by your plants genetics. Out of 40 plants, 37 vegged fine, but 3 said is time now to flower and started.

Make sure that they are under the same light time as out doors and harden them off by placing them in a shaded place out doors for a day then the next day set them in the direct sun in the morning for a hour or so then put them back in the shade until late afternoon then set them in the sun again. If they look like that didn't hurt them do it for longer morning afternoon until you can leave them in the sun full time. Mid day sun is what will kill them until they get use to it a shade cloth or sheet would work to protect them too.

Tl, thanks for the quick turnaround. Did this last year with disasterous results. Out of 18, 10 hermed! If ya read some of me posts from last August I had to bring 1 girl in & out of the house & place her in the bathroom for a few hours of dark time. Hell it was.... Heavy, bulky... etc. think I may veg until end of July! Know its crazy but don't want this to happen again. If anyone else has some input it would be highly appreciated. Tx.

Sorry for slow turn, but you know busy. Been thinking though. Your question seems really about Hermes. My experience is a little limited. Have had trouble with certain plants in times of big strees. And lipps covered that(slip of the tongue there). Make sure light times are right, no big change in when or how much. Going outside in summer watch heat and water. I use a shade cloth(camo).

But the o other side of the coin is maybe genetics. Seems to me, the fancier the breeding, the more this occurred. The breeder wanted this kind of plant, while supplying this environment. What I'm saying is your style might affect plant choice slot. Even if you buy that ten pack of high dollar seeds, you still have ten different plants after you get them up, and while very similar all are alittle different and react different. Finding that luscious lady that trips your trigger, and acts the way you expect in what you can provide, then clone the bitch!! Better yet, have one or two of her clones in the wings.
