Grow on the roof

Hi so i found an abandoned house thats really hard to get to (you can get to the roof only with a ladder), and its pretty stable, so it should hold enough weight.
Everything is invisible so Im 100% sure noone will be there for the next months. Direct sunlight almost all day.
Now my question because this is my first grow, Im thinking about plastic pots instead of the smart ones (ventilation up there will be pretty good, so Im scared my plants are gonna dry out with the smart ones and water is 8 minute walk away).
Ive got 5 Durban Poisons, 1 White Widow and some kind of easyplant xxl.
Do you recommend any soil or ferts for these plants?
Any Comments to the Location?

Have grown in treetops, water is a bitch, catch rain fall up there? Big pots slower dry out.
